Tassie Holiday

The room itself had no view, but we were able to sit in the bar area and best views in Strahan. Room a bit dated, but we didn't spend much time in there. Next time I would go for a room with a view.

Good Hotel - Booking Error

We booked this hotel for 2 couples in a 2 bedroom unit however, hotel advised that Hotel Clubs had requested a family room with 3 beds for 4 persons so watch this when booking. After the initial stuff up with the room, staff were very friendly so sort this out at no additional cost. I have stayed at this hotel before and the location is excellent however I think it is due for a refurb as it is starting to look a little dated and is getting expensive for dated facilities.

Enjoyed the location

The room was average, whilst it looked like the room had been updated, furnishings eg. lounge looked very dated and made us feel uncomfortable to sit on it. The colour scheme was also very depressing. The included breakfast buffet and dining room where excellent, which fantastic views over the town and river.

Lovely Accommodation

We were nestled high in the hillside with perfect views to the bay and beyond, the food at the pub was lovely and the whole feel of the town quaint. The room was a little dark with the green and timber ceiling but the colour made it feel very country cottage. We would definitely go back. Lovely staff to boot. Great breakfast
