Business/pleasure

Stayed 5 nights. Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The rooms are a good size, with daily service. The thick corridor carpet and location ensures quiet evenings. Complimentary breakfasts did not rock my boat, more due to personal preference. Everyone else seemed to be tucking in nicely. Was promptly informed to use the free tram service into the city, as the location is a bit out of the way from the entertainment area, esp when returning on foot late at night. Would recommend to people who don't mind a walk.

Good base for Womad attendance

Nice sized room, quiet and comfortable, with good facilities. We didn't use the shared kitchen facility, but it always looked clean and tidy. Breakfast was adequate, but a bit basic - only white-bread for toast is so last century! It is a 15 min walk to Rundle st, but that makes it a quiet location - can't have it both ways!

So good

Myself and my partner can be pretty picky at times. We've stayed in some nice (read: expensive) hotels in the past too. This place is fantastic. Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great in the fact that it's got some distance from the hectic part of town, but not out of walking distance. The highlight was the room. It's laid out tastefully and was spacious. It's great to drop your stuff, finally sit down and think "wow it's nice in here". For time spent with your loved ones this is where i would recommend above the big name, cheesy hotels. That includes the expensive ones.

18th Birthday

I booked the hotel for my daughter and her friends for her 18th birthday, so that her first "Clubbing night" was a good experience. They thought the Hotel was great with very large bedrooms and plenty of space, this made it a very enjoyable experience. Thank you for looking after them. Clive

Nice stay and friendly staff

We enjoyed staying here in December. We found it a fair bit of walking to city centre for some ppl. Bathroom was tiny, may not suitable for couple. TV has bad reception in the room. Average speed Internet available, enough for search web and check e-mail. Good in overall.

A good place for family

We are a family travelling with 2 kids (1 and 6 years old). I booked the twin room with 2 double bed which was good for the 4 of us. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The hotel share pantry is fully equip with cooking utensils, fridge and microwave. The hotel itself is close to IGA supermarket and a walking distance to a good Italian restaurant (great pizza and german apple cheese cake) and a must try Korean restaurant called Seoul Korean at Hyde Street (should try their Bulgogi, Bibimbap and Chap Jae). Room included basic continental breakfast which was sufficient for us. The only downside is it is a bit of walking to the tram to Glenelg beach. Overall it was good stay and would recommend and come here again.
