Relaxing beautiful setting.

Last minute booking whilst on road trip and couldn't have made a better choice. Beautiful setting made the stay too short. Railway carriage as a communal kitchen and dining area was unique and couldn't fault it. Was great to look at an album showing the building of the Eco Lodge. Clean comfy room which was large enough .Suprisingly free wifi Supermarkets 5 minute drive away . Lovely walks as the sun rose with plentiful bird life. Staff were lovely and helpful. would have loved to spend more time here

A long weekend of heaven

No mobile phone, No internet, No TV, Just heaven....The setting is quiet but not spooky or lonely. Very pleasant surrounds, lovely wildlife, all the needs are there for you to get and enjoy. An overnighter is not enough. I recommend a long weekend to rejuvenate yourself and your relationship.

Ok - am going to share this secret!!!

WOW! What a hidden gem this place is!!! We were met with excellent and friendly service from Robyn and Rick on our recent stay. The Glasshouse Mountains Ecolodge is a wonderful, slightly hidden gem but well worth finding! We were made to feel welcome by both Robyn and Rick on our recent stay - Robyn gave us a guided tour which helped us stretch our legs and take in the breathtaking views of the Glasshouse Mountains, the delightful "Garden of Eaten", and the Tram (which we thoroughly enjoyed using for dinner on our first night). My family stayed in the Rainforest Room which was both spacious and comfortable. We were able to sleep 3 adults and one pre-teen with ease. The quality of the bedding and room furnishings is comprable to that of 4.5 star hotels - I can speak from experience - the Ecolodge's care and attention to detail far outshone that of our other accommodations in major cities as we made our way home later in the week. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the gardens, BBQ area (and the Tram for eating). We were also kindly pointed in the direction of the local Chinese the Pineapple Patch Chinese - just a short drive away which made divine and good value food. If your staying at The Glasshouse Mountains Ecolodge - take the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast - which is prepared with fresh fruit daily. We visited specifically to be close to Australia Zoo - so having breakfast first saved the need to snack early. I cannot sing the praises of the hosts Robyn and Rick highly enough. In addition - another little secret of the Glasshouse Mountains Ecolodge is the local made produce - such as the Jabotannica Jam, Coffee and Honey sold on site is equally divine and a great mommento for your stay. Would highly recommend for comfort, value and a personalised experience. Thanks again Robyn & Rick.

Location, Location, Location

A very pleasant stay after a day at Australia Zoo. The lodge is perfectly located and provides a peaceful hideaway. Dinner is available locally at reasonable prices and the breakfast provided was adequate. Especially liked the fact that they offered you their home made jam. Just one issue, it would be appreciated if they could offer some form of mosquito repellent in the rooms. Other than that, would stay there again and would recommend to others
