Great resort but overpriced meals

Great resort, so much to do for the kids - water park, swimming pool, daily activities, kids clubs, ice skating. The only downfall of this place are the restaurants - over priced food and nothing overly enjoyable. Buffet breakfast is terrible without hot buffet foods and overpriced.

Water park area is good

The water park area is fun for the kids and cocktails are nice for the adults. The room was basic and clean but is old would not be happy if I had to pay full price it's not 4 star resort more like a 3 star maybe if you stayed in a renovated room might be better. Could hear traffic from our room and sometimes the neighbour in next room. Hotel is close to surfers paradise not to far to walk.

Best Value For Money Family Holiday

Overall, our stay was excellent. Wi-fi very slow to the point of no connection. Staff go above & beyond to cater to everyone & the friendliness was refreshing. A little disappointed with the room but only because the place is aging. If they were to refurbish, it would drive the price way up & considering how little time you actually spend in your room with all that's on offer, it wouldn't be worth it. Will definitely stay again!

Family Easter Getaway

Best family holiday I have had. Did not have to plan for the stay as all activities were kid focused. Normally I would be the one organising activities, making sure everyone is on time and having fun. Loved how we got 4 hours of couple time each day when the kids went to the planned activities. Overall, kids had heaps of fun and the parents got time to reconnect and recharge. Kids already pestering us to go back and we only checked out yesterday.

Awesome place for family

Our children had a blast there and we got to children-free for few hours. However the food provided to children could be improved. It was served cold.

Great trip

I found Paradise Resort to be a fantastic trip for the children. The staff were great, the food was nice and the prices were reasonable. The children were kept busy and did not want to leave. There are plenty of things to do with the children and the day care centre available to parents was better then the kids normal kindy, the staff in the kindy were approachable and very friendly, my partner and I found ourselves checking on our kids in the kindy area where we're very impressed. I would certainly recommend this hotel for any parents who want a mix of fun family time with the children and time to relax and enjoy mum and dad time.

Great things to do for the kids Terrible rooms

We were really looking forward to this trip for the kids but unfortunately on our first night we had a collapsed mattress, we did mention this to front reception and they said they would sort it and we finally got a call at 930 that night when everyone was asleep so could not move. In the morning we moved unit and I had a day sleep after getting none the night before and noticed a big bed bug was crawling on me so we were moved again. Third room mattress was no good and this room had no sink but we were well and truly over moving by that stage and decided to stay. We did get free undercover parking and a later check out as some sort of compensation. The kids club is amazing and the activities for the kids and facilities are great it is just shame about the actual accommodation. We did book the basic resort room. We stay down on the Gold Coast every three weeks and this is easily the worst accommodation we have stayed in. Next time we will book somewhere cheaper/better and just do the theme parks.

Happy children but bored parents

This place is great for kids to play but I don't think the rooms are worth the price - we stayed at the superior resort room (paid $200+) but the interior was very plain and smelt of nappies. The corridors of the hotel remind me of a cheap and dodgy 2 star motel. Reception service was friendly though, and when we requested clean towels they came around within 5mins. During the day the outdoor play area was packed, and we had trouble finding a shaded seating area. If you're someone who usually stays at 4/5 star hotels then you will not feel comfortable here. For the same price I would advise staying at a proper hotel and take your kids to a theme park or the beach instead.
