Lovely place but not impressed with family room

Beautiful Place, but wasnt impressed with the family room we stayed in, for the money we paid, all 3 kids had fold out sofa beds and the mattresses were horrible. When we arrived in the room there were ants everywhere all over bench. Thestaff were lovely and the pools were great. Cant comment about the restaurant we didnt eat there.

Relaxing and friendly

Enjoyed our stay and I guess the only complaint I have is that you can't get a real coffee, ie a long black or cappuccino, before lunch time. The breakfast buffet only has percolated coffee -weak - and the poolside café opens at 12 noon. The coffee machine in the bar was "broken" and for a hotel so far from shops or cafes, this made the holiday a little less indulgent.

wouldn't recommend

Booked and paid for a family of 5 people but only got beds and towels for 4 people. Too far from Cairns city centre and the esplanade for walking. Not as clean as other hotels where we have stayed in Cairns. Not suitable for a one night stay requiring a good nights sleep. Quite noisy as lots of children running around outside. More suited to someone looking to spend time at a resort with pools and entertainment etc.

A perfect holiday

We had a wonderful 7 days, the staff were very polite, pleasant and helpful when needed. The gardens within the Redorts were absolutely beautiful and peaceful. What can I say about the pools, beautifully kept and a delight to spend the day by. The Resort is looking a little tired - but is being re painted. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Cairns stopover

Great staff, friendly and obliging. Beautiful setting with services and amenities to cater for most. Our room was a bit dated and tired but a spring clean and coat of paint would refresh, wouldn't hesitate to stay again and or recommend to friends / others. Great value for money for our four night stay. Central to shops, CBD, restaurants etc Everything not available on site is within a few klms

One night stay

Got a good deal for $77 was only for the one night as was leaving cairns next day, great value for breakfast tropical deal sufficient no need for hot food, room had two king size beds so would be great value for more people, restaurant and gift store open late, would suggest having a car as location is a bit far for walking to esplanade, TV in room need to be up graded otherwise great value for money
