Would stay again. Now I know where its located! Esp walking.

A bit difficult to find, as it a bit away from the CBD, and up a hill if walking, which I did, from Roma Street Station. If having a car with sat nav, then ok, just type in the address. Ducted aircond, which is a plus. Close to eateries. Onsite restaurant (bistro) can get full, if they have a function when you plan to hvae a meal. Close to a park. Undergoing some renovations, should be great once thats completed, Jan/Feb (or bit later in 2015). Bring photo id. They didn't push it from me, but they did ask some others.

Dining tip: In Hotel

If walking from Roma Street Station, go up the hill, and keep walking, with the park on your left. No licence, so no car, and didn't want to pay for taxi from Roma Street Station. Don't veer right till you get to the top of the hill, near where the hospital is, then cross the road, by veering right.

Good location; Roof top Pool

Location close to Roma Park & station; handy to Brisbane CBD. Rooms comfortable and clean but standard. Roof top pool offers good views around the city & could see Southbank fireworks from rooftop. Some room deals offer complimentary undercover & secure parking which is a bonus in the city. Downside: spa on rooftop was not working.

Older hotel, and shows it age, but...

Well worth it if the person planning the booking has a car, or can walk uphill, or will use a taxi or rent a car. Will definitely stay at the hotel again in future. A bit hard to find without a map, and a for a person not used to Brisbane. But once known, and stayed, I found it not bad..

Best views of Brisbane

Easy to get to for stranger to town. Walk to Queen st mall for great shopping, and rode bikes from Botanical Gardens to Southbank. After all that exercise, spa could have been a bit warmer, but superb views from rooftop pool. Spotless modern bathroom with good quality bath towels. Decent aircon that is quiet too !!! Evening meal at hotel restaurant wont disappoint- high quality.Beautiful Roma st gardens minutes walk away also.
