majestic

Surprisingly good value for a very grand old style hotel. Staff were great, location was great. My only issue was the room was warm and opening the window meant that some industrial noise (pumps or motors of some sort) was noticeable. Had I found the fan in the closet before I went to bed instead of the next morning, this would not have been an issue. Would I stay here next time? Yes!

Don't Worry about Shared Facilities

We had a lovely overnight stay at The Carrington and everything was first class. We enjoyed a few drinks with friends in the lounge and even though our room was next to the bathrooms and we had share facilities there was no noise at all from "next door". We'd recommend this place to everyone (and a generous breakfast was part of the tariff)

Not to bad of a stay

I must first start off that the staff was unbelievably nice and helpful, the room had a nice little charm about it that made it very nice for valintines day, the only downfall was that the bed wasn't all that satisfactory as we didn't get that much sleep other then that the function room where all beautiful.

Great place to celebrate something special

We were travelling between Christmas and New Year and decided to take a road we had not travelled before. Arrived mid afternoon, booked for dinner in the Grand Ballroom, saw the local sites and had champagne on the verandah - delightful interlude in a place full of charm and nostalgia.
