A pleasant weekend retreat.

One of the jewels of the Blue Mountains. A wonderful hotel in a stunning location. Some of the fittings are showing their age but it's clean and tidy. The lounge is the place to be. Food was good but a little on the expensive side. That's to be expected. The staff friendly and responsive. Lack of parking is a disappointing. It was a relaxing get away.

two days break after hectic christmas

Have made it a ritual to go away couple of days after christmas to relax after the hectic pre christmas and christmas schedule .The hotel is first class ,position too ,but not as good as its sister hotel Echoes .Unlike Echoes rooms do not have balconies overlooking the valley for private sunbaking ..in fact dont have balconies at all ! Two issues had with hotel that marred a perfect stay ..aircon was freezing and no matter how many times tried to adjust would not move from 19 degrees ! but worst aspect of all is the parking ..there is none ! had to park considerable distance away or in the street ..just not good enough for a five star resort ! annoying enough for me to chose elsewhere in future !
