The attentive manner of Matthew the hotel manager attended to making our stay a wonderful experience.
From the initial delay suffered with our dedicated room not being available he promptly offered the use of a temporary room but we were satisfied
to use the pool and the roof top dining cabana.
Matthew was attentive again. As our room became available he personally came back to the roof top to advise me the room was ready and he would escort us.
On asking him about alternative rooms that were available we chose to upgrade to the Royal Suite.
A superb experience with an interior that is stunning.
Some extra amenities in The Royal Suite such as office equipment ie printer and office supplies would be a good touch as would complimentary soft drinks and mixers.Complimentary water had to be asked for as there was only two small bottles.
There is plenty of refrigeration so this isn't an issue.
The suite is of masculine colour tones and some softening effects such a flower arrangement and sofa throws would help greatly. An interior stylist to add further finishing touches is required.
The in room dining for lunch was professionally catered and staff that ensured it was a lunch to remember!!
The dining table caters for 8 persons and the 5 of us comfortably ate with a stunning view out over Double Bay to the stunning Sydney Harbour.
The hotel is near new and the refurbishment is excellent.
The pool area/roof top could do with some umbrellas and some tree/shrub planting as it is rather stark and offers little if any protection from the sun.
Its still a great area and a view to gaze at till the sun goes down.
The lobby bar is chic and sophisticated and has a very cool ambience.
You won't be disappointed if you stay here. The suburb of Double Bay offers restaurants cafes and many facilities.
I thank the staff and management for a very enjoyable stay.My wife and son felt they were treated with amazing hospitality.
See you all soon.
