Going There & Around
It is easy to travel by car from Sydney passing through the Hume Highway, which takes 80 minutes. It may take 30 to 45 minutes longer during the weekends. If you are coming from another country, take a flight into the Sydney Airport. There are regular shuttles travelling to the Southern Highlands from the airport.
Your best bet is to rent a car to tour around the Southern Highlands, although there are buses that connect the main hotspots in the area. Cycling is also a popular means of transportation in Southern Highlands.
