Liverpool is a charming suburb of Sydney located 32 kilometres from this most exciting and lavish of Australian cities. Standing as one of the country’s oldest settlements, Liverpool was founded in 1810, and its sprawling streets flanked by historic architecture continue to draw thousands of visitors every year to this town hidden just outside of Sydney. Holidaymakers in this area might also be interested in visiting the Army Engineer Museum, Collingwood House, and Pioneer's Memorial Park. Additionally, visitors often enjoy the city’s numerous lavish shopping centres featuring the kind of top-name clothing designers found in Sydney but with half the amount of congestive crowds.

  • Shop at the Macquarie Street Mall and Westfield Liverpool, home to a colourful variety of stores, restaurants, and four-star cafes, and enjoy the weather along this exciting social commons.
  • Admire the area’s architecture, including St. Luke's Anglican Church, one of the oldest buildings not only in Sydney, but the entire country.
  • Explore some of the city’s beautiful parks, which feature a number of assembled botanical gardens, swimming pools, and other bucolic sites more difficult to find amongst Sydney’s bustling city streets.

Pubic transportation to and from Liverpool has recently become far more prevalent due to the town’s recent expansion. Travellers driving to this city from Sydney can choose between three major highways. The Liverpool railway station also provides a number of trains leading to and from the city every day. Visitors travelling from other directions might arrive to Liverpool via one of Australia’s long-distance coaches, such as Greyhound Australia and Firefly Express, which provide daily service from places like Melbourne and Canberra for a reasonable price.

So convenient
Two styles of breakfast - both overpriced - but we expected that. Service was good and friendly and very relaxing - coffee with the paper and no rush for a plane. What more could you ask for
