Our Stay at the Hotel Madero

This hotel is a very good choice for a stay in Buenos Aires. The Hotel facilities were very good. Our room was on the 6th floor with all the facilities as noted in hotel information. The area around the hotel is a relatively new port area with many dining options and some shops. The area appeared safe to walk around, although would be vigilant if out at night...and I say this only because you are in BA. The bar area is a good place to relax with a wine. However, staff in the breakfast room and bar area are very slow to clean tables. Many tables are left untidy for considerable amounts of time in the breakfast area. We also found this to be the same in the bar area. I'm sure the bar area would get more clientele if these tables were readily available. Just one other small detail...the hotel should have advised guests the hotel was to be in lock down with riot police etc outside the hotel perimeter prior to it occurring. The reason was the Boca junior football team were staying at the hotel prior to an important game. Our overall stay was very enjoyable and would definitely return.
