Me in a nutshell

Leif Pettersen has been a full-time freelance writer since 2003, largely in travel writing. He has visited 45 countries and lived for extended periods of time in Spain, Romania and Italy. Leif is a Lonely Planet author for Romania, Moldova and Tuscany and his work has appeared in Global Traveler magazine, Travel + Leisure magazine Travel Ideas magazine, MSN city guides, the travel anthology To Myanmar with Love, and much more. Leif has been interviewed by the New York Times in an article about guidebook writers and was prominently featured in a Twitter report by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. He was named one of the “2010 Hunkiest Men in Travel” by GoGalavanting.com. He currently calls Minneapolis home.
