9. Ngilgi Cave

7. Busselton Jetty

While not quite in Margaret River per se, the Busselton Jetty is one of the most indelible landmarks in the South West. Walk on the 2 km-long pier and the popular tourist town too.

Surf and sip cellar door wines at family producer Preveli, all in the same afternoon. Prevelly Park is a spectacular seaside beach escape just minutes from Margaret River.

5. The Margaret River Chocolate Company

3. Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park

The most popular national park in Australia has innumerable inducements. Personally, we like the peppermint groves and bandicoots.

Likewise for Edwards, a five star winery in Cowaramup that produces excellent Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Sémillon. One of the most beautiful environs of any producer in the South West.
