Location
at Whitsunday Vista Resort is a pleasant seven-minute flat stroll from the centre of Airlie Beach with its shops and restaurants. The resort makes great base to explore the Whitsundays, with a full tour desk and a bus stop directly in front of the resort.
Rooms
The resort boasts 32 air-conditioned accommodation units, each having a private balcony that offers uninterrupted views of the Coral Sea and the Whitsunday Islands. The units are self catering, enabling guests to look after themselves for the duration of the stay, and they are serviced daily.
Restaurant
The resort's licensed restaurant is open each evening and features a Thai/Japanese flavoured menu.

Best value - easy walk & bus at door to shops & restaurants. Units with separate bedrooms are spacious with the outdoor balconies. Thai restaurant in building the food is excellent, tasty and good value. Management owner in building excellent for family with pool and outdoor spa with plenty of shade.

Bit of a walk to the main area but nice and quiet. Rooms are clean and quite nice, though looking a bit dated.

It's away from the centre of airlie beach, and there's building work going on in front of the hotel somewhat spoiling the vista. Disappointing really.

Place is reasonably spacious and clean. Only grouse I have is that the laundry facilities are shared with another unit. Location is so-so, i.e. 10 mins walk to central section of airlie beach. View of the seaside is affected by the current construction across the road.

Walk to Airlie Beach. No big hills was a plus. Bus Stop out the front. Optus phone/net do not work well in Airlie but the nice couple running the place offered us they mobile phone/land line/net in fact they offered they whole office areas to work from as we were trying to run our Melbourne business from up there and we were with optus.VERY VERY nice of them.But we did fine that 99.9 of the people up there were very very nice.
