Our first room was right on the street and thus quite loud. They then switched us to a room in the back, which was quieter, but was outfitted for handicapped patrons, so had a toilet that was very high and hard to use. They did not tell us about this feature when they offered to switch us. The hotel also does not have wifi or wired internet access in the rooms. Aside from these problems, the hotel is clean, nicely appointed, and well-located, and the staff were friendly.

I found the hotel located centrally enough being just off Via Indepenza though not in the prettier side of the city. Bulbs not working took 5 requests and 3 days to be replaced. Assistance with car hire, and a medical emergency was minimal to useless. The staff in the breakfast area were unpleasant each morning. This hotel is okay if you want somewhere reasonably central and moderately priced but it is with no frills. Bologna itself is well worth visiting
