Yadis Ibn Khaldoun Hotel Tunis Guest Reviews
The hotel is good ,only there is no internet in the rooms !! And even after they confirmed that they will put it in the room , it was not done till i checked out ( 3 days ) The location is good & rooms are fine .

Hotel is situated in very center of Tunis, therefore very noisy especially durring the day until quite late at night, so if you have problem to sleep do not choose this hotel. Even maybe it's dependent in which wing you are. Rooms are from very small to quite large for the same price and cleanliness varies also. I have changed 3 rooms, first one with small window which I couldnd closeand right next to the emergency fire stairs, second one grate is size, however molded carpet and bathroom (very much seemd to be in reconstruction), and the third one was ok, good in size and clean. Food was fine, fresh and good selection. One more think, if you go in couple and you are not married think of reserving two independent rooms, it is not allowed in Tunisie accomodate people who are not married in shared room (maybe some more turistic destinations like Hammamat, but forget about Tunis). Conclusion-it's ok if you do not desire total comfort and are open to compromis ;)

Business hotel. 15' minute walk to La Medina and Av. Habib Bourguiba. Good value for money.

Good for a budget traveler if you get the right rate. Similar to a 2-star hotel in Europe. With the online booking, we had a rate around 50Euros, which is good for the quality level. However, at the end of our stay in Tunisia, we didn't have a reservation for our night in Tunis before departing, and went back to see if we could get something similar. They wanted about twice the original amount, which is not worth it for this hotel. We went elsewhere...

we needed a cheap hotel in the centre of tunis for 6 nights and found Ibn Khaldoun Hotel. Location is a 10 minute walk from the centre not too bad. The reception staff we found to be abrupt and not interested, so apart from checking in and out we didnt bother them. The room was large and bright and kept very clean by the cleaning staff who couldnt be more helpful. Breakfast was buffet continentale style again adequate but the tables were not very clean, so ok if you dont look too closley!...Overall for the price we paid we got clean accommodation; no frills but then thats what we wanted. I would recommend this hotel for business travellers and short stay guests: would i stay in this hotel again? probably if i was looking for basic shortstay accommodation.
