The hotel was in an excellent position, clean and facilities like shared bathrooms were plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful.

YMCA is rather conveniently located, room r basic n clean but the shared kitchen is really a mess.. nobody seems to wash after they have used it. Well if u r not bother by the kitchen than is a pleasant place to stay n staff are helpful too.. I did enjoy my stay and return 2wks later after touring the south island for another day before i depart christchurch

Stayed on the student floor, very noisy until late at night, bathrooms and room slightly tired looking. Great location and parking.

Friendly staff, clean rooms with efficient heater and electric blankets. Central location and easy walk to town. Clean bathrooms. Would stay again. Don't know if hairdryer available. Take your own tea and coffee - none supplied.
