Location
The X-Tra is also within walking distance of Zurich's main railway station or for those who prefer not to walk, a few minutes by tram. The city's main tourist sights of the Grossmunster, the Linderhof, and the shopping streets of the old town are all easily explored from here.

A very good stay, value for money. Will visit again!

I had only one night in Zurich and wanted to be near the train station so that I could maximize my time in the city and then make a dash for the train. The hotel's location was perfect (on a wide street with a tram line) and though it was connected to a lively bar I could hear nothing from my room. The staff was most helpful, the room spacious, and breakfast good.

Nice room, friendly staff. No air-condition and the noise from trams and the bells of the church next door is not a good combination

this is the best 3 star hotel i have seen, just a little bit far from the centre. breakfast was also good for a three star.
