I stayed in rooms at the tower and they are a bit outdated. New furniture and carpeting is needed. It is clean. The restaurants are good and very helpful staff. I got a good price due to the length of stay.

Excellent accommodation. Food quality and selection could be better. Staff at business office was the best. Servers at pool side was not that great. I requested more salad dressing and the waiter disappeared. I call a female waitress for help and she looked at me strangely and attended to another table. One other female came to my table reluctantly and ask me "who is your waiter"? I said that I did not have his name. She walked off without offering to help. Finally the waiter showed up with the salad dressing when I was almost done with my meal. I was not impress!

The staff was very courteous and seem sincere about wanting to help us to be comfortable. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. My overall experience was great. In December of 2010 I did stay at this hotel and I had a very bad experience. A young man followed us into the hotel and before we took the elevator up to our room we discovered that we were followed. We went to the front desk and reported it, however the young man at the desk did not seem a bit concerned although he saw the young man running out of the elevator and running up the stairs because he did not have a key card to use the elevator. We were scared and had to ask someone to escort us up to our room.

If you are going to Kingston, Jamaica this is the place to stay. Yes, I would agree it actually is not up to American Hilton standards in all respects, but like they say in the Wizard of Oz "I have a feeling we are not in Kansas anymore". By Jamaican standards this place is great. The people are wonderful, the facilities are nice and I think everyone there has really tried their best to make your stay a first rate experience. I would certainly go there again. If you think you can do better elsewhere in Kingston ... well just go ahead then and take your chances.
