The room was good except the bathroom fan didn't work. I reported the problem but staff didn't do nothing about it. I stayed for two nights and I had to ask for towels for the following day. The distances to Disney was great. I would stay again maybe because of the distance.

Room was a little smaller than expected, but we didn't go to spend all day in the hotel. Location was ideal for beaches and Sea World. Only down side is that they don't offer the free breakfast anymore, and we found that out after we got there, so there was an added expense that we were not expecting. We were able to watch the fireworks from sea world from the door to our room.

I booked a family suite (bunk beds with a king) for a trip to SeaWorld with the kids. When I arrived they only had a room with 2 double beds available for us. Even though I pre-paid and had a clear description of the room, they refused to change our room and said they were overbooked. It was late, we were tired, so we took the room with the assurance that we would be moved into a family suite the next day. As a consolation we were given coupons for a free breakfast at the attached coffee shop. The room was average at best. The air conditioner wasn't functional, and when maintenance turned it on (reset circuit) it was very loud. The beds were understandably tiny and walls were paper thin. The next day we packed up and went to the coffee shop. There is one item on the menu which the coupon is valid for (eggs and potatoes with bacon) and that's it, no substitutions. It's not a bad coffee shop, but we wanted pancakes and the coupons were worthless. I called in just after noon the next day to ensure we get the room we paid for, and not surprisingly the manager said they were again overbooked and we would be put into a double queen room. When I mentioned I paid in advance for a family suite, she apologized and said there is nothing she could do. Here's the kicker, she said that the type of booking we had is technically "run of hotel" which means that it is up to the hotel to determine the room based on availability. So caveat emptor. This hotel has absolutely no problem putting you in a room you did not book. Considering that most of us pre-pay with online booking sites, there is no recourse other than writing a review after the fact. Finally, and this has nothing to do with our experience with the booking, the hotel was photographed by the world's best real estate photographer. The grounds are nothing more than parking lots, the rooms are in various states of disrepair and the pool is nowhere you want to spend time. I'm shocked this is a Wyndham.

I booked 4 rooms for my family - 10 adults and 6 children under 8. I called the day before to insure cribs for the babies and was told they did not have any reservations from us but that they usually take some time getting there. When I arrived the next evening lo and behold - no cribs and no reservations! We finally verified our reservations with our third party booking company, and the staff was kind enough to grant us up-grades to jr. suites which made the stay much more comfortable. Sadly, we had to improvise with no cribs available, but I appreciated the staff's help.

ran into a little delay at front desk due to some alleged complication that took awhile to get resolved but thanks to different desk agent, things worked out. quite satisfied with location, very close to old town trolley stop, making it convenient location.

A good central location to everything, clean rooms, nice staff. The only thing a bit wrong was the remote was a bit slow to respond, but all in all we were very happy.

I feel that personnel at the check in desk should treat guests in a professional way. Guests should not be judged by the color of their skin. I did not feel welcome at Wyndham Garden, San Diego. On our second day we were locked out of the room and could not get in. When I inquired about the lock out, I got an attitude from the lady at the front desk. Overall service was not the best.

Went to San Diego for a business meeting and stayed here. I arrived very late and had pre-booked my trip. The desk clerk gave me an upgrade to a king bed suite which was much appreciated as the hotel was only about 50% occupied. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is a 24 hour diner next to the property which is great if interested in grabbing an early breakfast or late night snack. Hotel staff was friendly and very accomodating. Room was cleaned every day. Easy access to the I-5 and I-8 freeways and no-traffic 10 minute access from SAN. Overall, would recommend for comfort, convenience, and value.

if you like a lumpy bed, with lots of squeaks, and a room with lots of surrounding noise...near the stairwell...etc this room is for the one that does not need a quiet space for rest and relaxation. Other wise it is fine.....

Please dont fall for the lobby pictures posted on the site. The room is complete different. Also 1 br/ba ends up in a very small room with a bad television and very poor wifi.

The hotel was everything that we expected and more. I cannot believe the deal that we were able to get booking online, and no other discounts could match the low price we ended up paying for our stay. I was so pleased with our rates and will never book another hotel without booking online again.

We were very pleased when we arrived at the Wyndham hotel, the location was perfect, the room was amazing, and the price was just the cherry on top! We will definitely go to the wyndham for any future trips to SD :)

We thought this hotel room was a great deal and close by the city as well as the beach! Our room was very clean and had all the amenities that make a place comfortable. Nothing fancy, but definitely exceeded our expectations.
