Wyndham Garden Hotel Mexico City Polanco Guest Reviews
This hotel is NOT in Polanco and it is no more than a 2 star property. Nothing in the lobby (gift store, etc) no bar in the restaurant, no mini bar, no drawers or shelves for clothing, plastic shower, garbage in the hallway, very limited bi lingual television (3 channels) and staff. The suites ARE NOT actual suites, they are two rooms, one windowless and dark.

I booked this hotel for three reasons: 1) It was the brand, and I had stayed in NICE ones' before 2)Location advertised and named after 3)Reasonable price for a suite I booked this hotel for a birthday celebration and upgraded to a one bedroom suite for the two of us. This WAS NOT a suite, it was a room you walked into, windowless and dark with a desk and a sofa. The next room was the actually bedroom. The furniture was cheap, the lighting was bright (no dimmers), no bathtub, only a shower with a plastic door and wall, 3 English speaking channels on the television , no drawers or shelves for clothing, no minibar or refrigerator. There was a bag of garbage in the hallway for most one day and the staff for the most part was not bi lingual. I asked for a room on a higher floor three times and still got the fourth floor overlooking a dirty street. The location is not in Polanco even though it is called that. It is in Azures which is a long ways to Polanco and rather run down with no stores or restaurants. I booked with you because you offered a good deal on a suite, which turned out to be WAY overpriced for this, what should be a two star property. There isn't even a gift shop in the lobby, which also has cheap furniture and tacky ambiance. The restaurant/"bar" on the roof DOES NOT have a bar, only a busboy tray with a few bottles on it and a brightly lit room with some cheap tables as well. All in all, it was an embarrassing, awful week end and I am not very happy your company for misleading on the value and the property.
