Witney Four Pillars Hotel Oxford Guest Reviews
There was an attempt to charge me for a drink at the bar, which I had not used. On questioning, this was removed. However I was charged again for the two nights, on questioning I was told that details of my credit card had only been held and that no money had been taken from the account. I duly paid the bill believing that I was mistaken. On my journey home, I received a call to tell me that I had mistakenly been charged again and that I had indeed paid for the room when I had made the booking. An apology was offered and I was told my account would be credited. This was not a satisfactory experience. Also the dining room was very cold at breakfast time.

Although on quite a busy road. We found the hotel very quite and relaxing. The food was lovely and the staff always friendly. The facilities were great, although the steam room was out of action. Our room was one of the new ones, which had air con. and plasma t.v. We would wake every morning to the sound of a cockrell. Which was a pleasant change from the sound of traffic. Would recommend it to my friends
