Wingate by Wyndham Scottsdale Guest Reviews
I stayed at the hotel for three nights for business. It looked like a small 2~3 star hotel, but inside is solid 3 star, 4 star hotel maybe. The room and bathroom were clean and complimentary hot breakfast was pretty good. Location is vey quite, even too quite, but it is not far from everything. Nice experience and would stay there again if I can.

Hotel was little hard to find, but was in a great quite area. Plenty of food and shopping just a short drive away. Staff was very friendly, nice little breakfast served. Rooms are very large and comfortable, and very very clean. the pool area was the best I have seen on a small hotel property, it made you get a little bit of a resort feel without the resort price. They have won me over anytime I need to stay in Scottsdale this is where you can find me.

I spent a few nights at the Wingate while visiting family in Scottsdale. The place was exactly what I required: quiet, clean, and affordable. I specifically requested a quiet room, and that's what I got. To be fair, the air conditioner was blasting the entire time I was in my room (it gets a bit toasty in Phoenix in the summer), creating a convenient sound shield. I would probably not have noticed if the other motel guests were servicing jet engines in their rooms. I interacted only with the night staff during my stay, and they were polite, knowledgeable, and well-organized. The Wingate feels clean outside and inside. My bed was comfortable, the bathroom sparkled, the refrigerator worked, and the TV picture was clear. Internet connectivity was typical for a motel: there was the usual broken network cable attached to the wall (wireless is also available, thankfully), and bandwidth was just slightly better than dial-up. The place is located in a commercial area, surrounded by office buildings and shopping centers, and far enough from the freeway that traffic and noise are minimal. I believe the complimentary breakfast is served until 9 a.m. each morning. I consistently missed it. I'll skip my usual rant about how Morning People have ruined the world and simply state that there are restaurants in the area where the sane 5% of the population can get a "late" breakfast. The Wingate was well cared-for and a very good value. I would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at the Wingate in Scottsdale was very comfortable and affordable compared to similar stays elsewhere across the country. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful especially [...]who made our morning breakfast routine a great way to start the day. They even made an unwelcome event, a large dust storm that engulfed the city one evening, more tolarable by hosting an impromtu car wash the next day. All in all between the clean well maintained rooms and the positive gestures of the staff our family had a great experience on our Arizona vacation.

Our stay at the Wingate was fine. The room was clean and comfortable. However, although there were many rooms available that weekend, we found ourselves at the far end of a long hall, with all other [...]customers. (I asked guest about reservations). The free breakfast was as good as any restaurant and the coffee was great. We will be staying at the Wingate again, want to see if they again put us at the end of the mile long hallway.
