Wingate by Wyndham Oklahoma City Guest Reviews
The room was average. Pull out sofa bed was broken and slanted. Major complaint was that there was only one person on staff behind the counter at all times. Notice several employees get frustrated because there was too much to do, could not get a hold of manager, etc.. Took like 30 minutes to check out.

We were disappointed to discover that the indoor, heated pool that I had gone out of my way to locate was dry due to resurfacing. Wish that had not been listed as an amenity. The room was clean and comfortable. No other complaints except that housekeeping was knocking on our door at 9:00a on Saturday. The breakfast was pretty good. Overall, if the pool had been as advertised, I would have been happy.

Our trip was sort of a last minute thought, we got online, looked up the motels that happened to be on Meridian in OKC...AKA Airport Row. The places we were planning to shop at were all within a five minute drive, we arrived around midnight and was welcomed by a very nice front desk clerk. The room was impeccable! The only complaint we had was breakfast ended at 9 a.m., other than that, it was very clean, we will stay there again and again!

Hotel was clean and good A/C. Three things I did not like: #1- Hotel was no more than 1/2 full and they put me next to a room with what sounded like 3 kids and 2 adults who were talking, laughing, and screaming until 11pm. I was in town for business and they could tell that at check in. Would have been nice to put me away from the loud families. #2- Workout room in picture is MUCH different in person. There is one machine with weights (looks like a bow flex but with some weight options), and a stairmaster/treadmill/bike from 1980. Could use some updating. Plus it's right in front of the jacuzzi (less than 5 feet) and is seperated with clear glass so people relaxing in jacuzzi will watch you work out. #3- When I arrived, I asked the person behind the check in counter how long should I give myself in the morning to drive to Chandler, OK. The employee did not know and didn't even offer to check it out. His response was simply "I don't know." Granted there was free wifi in the hotel so I could mapquest it, but really wanted to know the traffic situation in OKC since I could not be late for a meeting. Overall, not too good customer service with this hotel. I think I paid about $100/night for my stay. Probably only worth $50-70. If I travel to OKC again, I will check out a different hotel.

Overall was a good experience except the exercise room equipment is very dated and the air conditioner for it was broken during the whole stay which made it very uncomfortable to workout.
