Windsor Hotel Cairo Guest Reviews
I absolutely loved the Windsor on many, many levels. My room had excellent cleaning service with a shower, nice bed and WiFi. I traded plush and modern for a classically beautiful design that you would expect from a hotel built in 1901 that served as a favorite for the British and later for celebrities. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful..walking me to the subway, personally guiding me to the nearby money exchange and pharmacy as well as keeping me well fed with nurtritious and delicious delights. The generation of family owners still casts its warm personality throughout the hotel and made me feel safe, comfortable and special throughout my one week stay. Again, this is not for those who want the most modern of facilities. But if you want to stay where Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall would have quite probably chosen, then book the Windsor.
