Location
The Windhoek Country Club Hotel is situated in the southern end of Windhoek just 5 minutes drive to the city centre. The hotel is a 40-minute drive to the international airport and a 3-minute drive to the domestic airport.
Rooms
All of the hotel's rooms are spacious, carpeted and have large sliding windows offering lots of natural light.
Restaurant
The onsite enormous restaurant has views of the gardens and pool area and has a large seating area that can accommodate up to 200 guests. There is a buffet on offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
General
Conference facilities are available for people travelling on business purposes. During leisure, you can workout at the gymnasium or play a game of tennis at the tennis court.

Food options were average if one did not want the buffet. The food at the bar was below par. The lady at check-in and check-out was very polite and helpful. All rooms are being renovated and we were in one that had been completed--a nice room

We chose this hotel because of its location away from the downtown. For a hotel of this level, the mattress and our bedding were well below acceptable standards. The guest rooms need to be updated as the carpet is torn, mattresses well worn, and sheets thread bare. The guest rooms should be up to the same standards as the public areas. In addition, the evening we stayed, the restaurant was having a seafood extravaganza. The ala carte menu was not offered. When there is only one restaurant in a hotel there should always be an ala carte menu offered. Our only option was a limited room service menu where the steak came overcooked and the food preparation was very poor. The next morning we were pleasantly surprised with a terrific buffet breakfast. I probably would not stay at this hotel again given the price and the conditioned of the guest room.
