Willows Hotel Chicago Guest Reviews
Neighborhood is wonderful with many shops and great restaurants! The hotel is quaint and historic. The rooms have been renovated, but are definitely not "high end." The bed was comfortable, TV was new, wireless worked well and there was plenty of hot water for showering. Breakfast is very basic, but free! There is zero street parking in the Lincoln Park area, so plan on taking a cab. It's a long hike to the "L." Unload your baggage before you try to park your car as it's a long walk to the ramp in the back.. You can buy an "in-out" parking pass for $22/day or pay $17/ day with no "in-out" privileges when you check in. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Do not stay in room 118 as it is right across from the ice machine! Also, don't stay in one of the very small rooms at the end of the hallways (426 I think). We'd definitely stay at the Willows again! Lots and lots of very well-behaved young people in the area.

My husband and I just got back from our trip to Chicago, and this was our first time staying at The Willows. The location was great! The room was a little small, but completely managable. It did get a little hot at night, probably because of the radiator heat. We were within walking distance to the "L", which was also nice. The continental breakfast was far better than a lot I have experienced. They had breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, a variety of cereals, coffees, and teas. In summary, for the price, we could definitely stay here again!!

The room was not clean in which I checked in. Not at all a good experience.

I can't say enough good things about The Willows. What a lovely place, clean, charming, and most of all quiet. Staff extremely helpful and courteous.

Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Has a neighborhood feel and close to some of my favorite shopping and restaurant areas. Not too far from CTA so easy to get anywhere. Very reasonable price, quiet, comfortable, clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good amenities including free wifi internet in room, continental breakfast, coffee/tea available all the time, and cookies in the evening.
