Location

White Sand Krabi Resort Guest Reviews
Pretty much as advertised. Got number of irritating problems - one aircon did not work (changed room), some lights could not turn on (after fixed, became permanently ON!), water temperature fluctuates during a shower. Breakfast was good. Parking was sufficient. Internet is NOT free - My wife paid 100baht for 30mins but could not connect after using 13mins on the first day. Later the hotel informed us that the ISP was down but did not do anything about it (No refunds were offered). Travel support was poor but it is easy to just cross the road or walk down a block to plenty pf agents.

We stayed right above the reception. It was very noisy at night as White Sand is situated opposite a Reggae Bar. Music was very loudly played until wee hours. The stay would definitely be better without that late night disturbance. Apart from that, White Sand is ideally situated near the beach and almost at the central of the shopping stalls.

This was a nice place to stay and very good value for money. Its been operating for about a year and the owner and staff were very helpful. The room was a good size, with a small baclony. There is a roof top area with pool, which is great for cooling off in the afternoons and watching the sunsets. Breakfast was included, and these were quite good. We also had dinner there one night and the food was excellent, which is more than I can say for most of the hotel food in Thailand. Plenty of shops and eateries nearby, with a 5-10 minute walk to the beach.
