Excellent hotel with superb location in the heart of NYC

Location was great, could not get internet access in room, but staff were very helpful, good place though

You can't be more central, close to Port Authority, near the tube station and right on the doorstep of Times Square (1 block away). You are also 1 block away from 9th Avenue and all the great restaurants there.

A few things to know: If you want to use the exorbitantly priced Wifi, then ask for a room right by a router, otherwise it is too weak to work. They also charge to use the gym on top of the room rate - never seen that before. And be careful with your bed.... I came back to my room one night to find moldy and ripped sheets on my bed. I rang Guest Services who said they would change the sheets immediately, but two hours later I had to go seek the Manager to sort out, by now after 11pm. He did change my room, and to one where the Wifi worked. This room was good, clean sheets, but the shower head was falling out of the wall. For the price, they need to do some maintainence and a little bit more attention to detail.

We stayed at the Westin for a week, and loved every day,the hotel is perfectly located in Times Square, in the middle of everything, Broadway, Shopping,Eateries, and you get that New York vibe everytime you leave the Hotel,all that energy, people, and buzz.
