Westin Hotel Dublin
5 out of 5

We recently stayed here as we were visiting the Dublin for the Horse Show, as a birthday present for my wife. Right from check in all the staff were very friendly and efficient. We had a lovely room overlooking Temple bar, it was clean and well appointed, beds fantastic!! Coffee machine, tea etc. On check in I had briefly mentioned it was my wife's birthday, When we returned from our first afternoon of Guinness sampling, they bought up some delightful petit fours with happy birthday on them, a very thoughtful touch. Salsa dancing in the Hotel bar on Friday night was great fun! Concierge efficient, organising a delicious diner for us. Overall very pleased, 5 star!

This hotel is very central in Dublin and within easy access to all shops, theatres and public transport. The staff are very friendly and if you travel to the hotel by car, you will park in front of the hotel, remove your bags and the staff will then park your car for you. The restaurants are of an excellent standard but perhaps a bit overpriced but you are in the best location to sample fabulous restaurants especially through the "Temple Bar" area. If I had one complaint it would be that in the current climate, it would be good to include breakfast in the price and also a paper was supposed to be delivered to the room in the morning but never arrived, otherwise this is a fabulous hotel.

The break was booked as a treat for a special birthday. I felt thoroughly pampered & really enjoyed staying at the hotel. It is in a fantastic position in the city. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would love to stay at the hotel again some time in the future.

Recently at the Westin for one night. It was excellent, very very clean, staff were very helpful. The breakfast was buffet style but had everything. The waiter insisted on getting me my oatmeal made on water. One of the few places that had soya milk on demand also. Location could not be beaten. The only wobble might be the price.
