I stayed one night in the LVH and it was a decent stay. The only negative point is the location which can be solved by paying a $5 fair for the monorail which will take you to wherever you wish in the strip!

We wanted a hotel that was nice, clean, and felt like a little luxury. This hotel succeeded on all counts. The rooms (we had two) were elegant without being incredibly modern. One of our rooms had a jacuzzi tub, and the whole place felt like we were sufficiently off the strip yet close enough to feel like a part of the Vegas experience. The pool was closed for the season, but the hotel offered a discount on spa admission, so that was nice. Overall, it was a great experience, leading me to think that we would stay there again and again. For the price, I'm not sure anything could beat it.

We only stayed there for one night, but would definitely stay again if wanting to be downtown. The location is off the strip, but you can use the monorail to get to the strip quickly. The rooms are clean and nice; better than I expected for $50 on a Saturday night. You can tell that in the past it was a pretty swanky hotel, but things are getting older and it's about time for a remodel. But it's still pretty nice for the price. We paid for a premium room and it was just like the pictures. Check out was a breeze. You can do it on the phone or on the tv. Super easy!

I stayed here because of a convenience being adjacent to the convention center. I definitely would not stay here for any other reason. I will not even stay here again for another convention. The hotel is worn down and understaffed. I had a friend complain of roaches in the bathroom. The food was lousy and they nickel and dime you on everything. It's worth paying the cab ride and staying on the strip.

Typical dated Vegas hotel but ok for the price. I still don't understand why a chain as big as the Hilton insist on charging for wifi when even McDonalds has it free? $15 per day, the Hilton in LA only charged $7 for the whole stay. Also, parking is a fair distance from the lobby so unload 1st then park. If you can get a deal then at least the rooms are good.

If I had paid $200 a night for this hotel I'd be giving it higher marks. But since I paid closer to $500 a night, I'm being a bit harsher in my judgement. If you are attending a conference or trade show at the LVCC, this is the BEST place to stay. It is literally across the street. And not across some giant Las Vegas street, but a small two-lane alley. For that reason alone I will always stay at this hotel. However, there were some things that bugged me. Everything is just old. This hotel is in need of renovation. Many of the switches (curtains, a light) didn't work at all. The shower drain was extremely slow. There was a strong smell of sulpher in the lobby when I checked in. On the other hand, I was staying on the executive floor and the lounge was very nice - drinks, snacks, etc. There were slippers and robes in my room. The toiletries were much nicer than I expected. There was a fridge instead of a mini-bar, which is what I prefer. My room also had a printer. In the end, this hotel is all about location, location, location. If you can get a good rate on top of that, your stay should be fine.

We stayed at the hotel for the 30th & 31st of Dec for NYE. It was convienient that the hotel is located right next to a monorail, which was perfect since the strip is shut down for new years, we were able to get around easily with that. The staff was friendly, when we did the $20/night upgrade (that I remember seeing for $10 online) she was able to get us a room with a great view of the strip. The room itself leaves a bit to be desired. I was very worried after reading many poor reviews on yelp, but the room was not too smokey (especially for a "smoking" room and it was decently cleaned. It was upseting that the most basic ammenities were not supplied, such as a blow dryer or a coffee machine. I've never before stayed in a room that did not include these things. We had to pay for a pot of coffee in the morning and decided to get two full breakfast plates, as well. The food was good, but later that day when I called to request champagne glasses, I was told it would be a $2 charge per glass since I was not ordering food. I was upset because I had spent over $50 on room service earlier that same day, plus I had no intention of taking the glasses home with me. After asking for a manager and speaking with him, he finally said he would "see what he could do" and withyout confirming with us, he had a server bring them by at no charge. Seems like a large hassle based on ridiculous policies. Overall it was a decent stay, maybe I would stay there again at less than $50 a night, but for the money I spent, which was very pricey being that it was New Yerars, I would have rather spent $100 more total and gotten a way better room and hotel at the mirage or luxor. Since it is clear they have some improving to do (they lost their brand from the Hilton) they should be doing a lot better of a job of getting the basic needs of a guest taken care of.

My room was freezing the first night and it took the staff over an hour to send someone to take a look at the heater they said "do you want another comforter if not you have to wait engineering is busy". No one even bother to apologize. My sheet was never change throught out the stay eventhough house keeping came to my room on three different occasions. I had a spill on the sheet this is how I know. I was at thier hotel in New Jersey and recieved excellent services in November, this experence was not good.

The only reason I'm giving this hotel 2 stars and not just 1 is because of the staff. The staff was very friendly and helpful! However the rest of my "Hilton" experience was quite less than par. There was a leak in the ceiling of the lobby, the casino was littered with empty drinks and full ash trays. Our room was not clean, smudges on the windows, pubes in the bathroom, there was a terrible odor and the bathroom light switch SHOCKED us both! One of the employees informed us the The Hilton Corporation is revoking their license to use their name because the hotel is so run down and not managed properly! That's why the name is changing to "HLV"!... HA, what a joke!

The hotel is not on the strip of Vegas, and the nearest bus stop is ten minutes walk, although the monorail is right in the hotel, it cannot reach the airport and other hotels on the strip. The good thing about the hotel is that it has a beautiful scene of a country club, and it is very quiet.

hotel was great. Flight schedule was horrible. Our itinerary had us leaving LasVegas Sunday, December 4,2011 Contubebtak Airlines 1288 Depart 6:55 am , so we had to leave the Hotel at 4:15am and when we got to the airport there was never a flight going to Cleveland at that time. We had to stay at the airport until 11:15 that morning. Had to end up paying more for everything.

I'm not one to spend too much time in a hotel when visiting Vegas so the Hilton did its job! The room was really nice and I loved the fact that they gave you a $10 voucher per day that you didn't have maid service. Way to go green! It is a bit far on the strip but having the monorail station right there is very convenient. My only desire is that the gym didn't cost $20 a day and the internet didn't cost $15 a day but I guess that is the norm for Vegas standards. Would definately book again!

Hotel was nice but you pay for everything. Local calls and toll free you pay. Use the pool, pay. No complimentary coffee in the room or anyplace in the hotel. Small frig in the room, NO. If you want one pay extra. You get more amenties at a cheap motel than from this Hotel. Hotel restaurant food as only average, nothing speical.
