This is an old hotel which really requires a make over. The room was spacious but old furniture and fittings. Staff was friendly and helpful. Situated on one end of town but one could easily walk to the shops etc.

The room was clean, bed comfortable, hot shower, what more can you ask for? We fully recommend the Chancellor Inn.

over the weekend the dining room was closed causing us to make alternate arrangments.prpbably just as well as it seems the restuarant is only buffet style meals with little choice. Notice Displayed inside cupboard that cups and other utensils are available for use but if you dont wash them up and put them back there was acharge of $25 if the cleaning staff had to wash up. We were a bit disappointed with tis service as their rate were not any cheaper than the other motels and hotels in town. In fact we ate at the other hotel after the first night
