This is my second stay at Wellesley Boutique Hotel and having discovered it I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The staff are just wonderful, nothing too much trouble. The rooms are perfect........comfortable beds, even a pillow menu. The bathroom, wow, gorgeous black & white, double basins, claw foot lovely deep bath with separate shower, quiet location. Then there's the lounge with a beautiful open fire place, the only disappointment was that I visited in Summer. The dining room is lovely and has a small but very good menu, don't go past the slow roasted duck leg. There is also inexpensive parking directly opposite. Would I stay again and would I recommend, have done both and happy to do so.

This is a charming and historic hotel, with only a small amount of rooms. A period building built in 1881 as a Gentlemans club that has been restored, and returned to its former glory with nice decor, pictures, furniture even down to the old elevator with the 'scissors' gated doors. The dining restaurant is not open every evening, but the nearby wharf area has plenty to choose from. I didn't have a car so unaware of the parking options, except the parking wardens kept me entertained during breakfast booking all the cars out front ! Definately a great place top stay.

There on a business trip, and their 'free internet' is limited to 50MB. Sorry guys - but that's not free internet - I burned through that in about 20 minutes downloading my email from the day. The room was nice, location fine, staff lovely. But didn't like it from a business perspective as one of the few things that I really require when travelling is a strong decent internet connection - and if I'd have used their connection I probably would've racked up $200 worth of charges. Ended up walking around the city until I found somewhere that was $20 for 24 hours and sitting on the street to do my work :\

Excellent service. Arrived very late from Oz and Night Manager couldn't have been more welcoming and helpfull. Room was well equipped and spotlessly clean and well maintained. Building exudes heritage charm.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The bed was good quality and very comfortable, the room was clean and had everything. (Except a plug for the kettle, had to use the bathroom plug!) We also enjoyed a lovely meal at the restaurant, Maginnitys.
