Designed in 1927, this masterpiece was awarded a gold medal for architecture and is regarded as Wellington's finest example of neo-Georgian architecture.

Excellent hotel, great staff and location only problem having the fridge in the wardrobe! a bit cramped with the clothes in there too.

Excellent hotel, different to the normal modern hotels which are all the same. Has style and flair. All the rooms are different and all very tastefully decorated. Bathrooms are fantastic and every last detail taken care of. Hasn't got the normal gym facilities etc but we didn't want them. Located central in the CBD and was close to the waterfront. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful Hotel. Very old, but lovely. Staff were extremely helpful. Great location, but still nice and quiet at night. Wouldn't hestitate to go back.
