Excellent location, ideal for exploring the city. A bit dated, but charming, and appers to be great value for money. Great service, very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast room was way to small for the number of people.

nice place, near termini and walking distance to most attractions. Clean and very nice staff and helpful. No problem recommending this hotel.

The hotel is located only about 300 metres from the Roma Termini railway station on the side of a silent street. There is only 1,5 kilometres to walk to Colosseum and Capitol hill and about 2 kilometres to the shopping streets near the Spanish steps. The palce is excellent. The room was renovated and clean, but they had forgotten to assemble the small details in the bathroom, like the hooks for towels and place for the soap in the shower. We spend 4 nights in the hotel. The most problematic was the unnormal noise from the corridor. We woke up many times every night when somebody walked there and shouted something to somebody or closed the doors. The walls and the doors were like paper. The beds were also guite hard but acceptable.

An excellant location 10 mins from Termini Station. Very quiet.

Great location, 10mins brisk walk to the Colloseum. In fact all major attractions are within walking distance. We did take the metro (just 1 euro but got camera stolen in the busy train, sighs) to the Vatican city as that is slightly further. The hotel area might not be the most high class, but it was busy enough that we never felt it wasn't safe. Having been in the UK a while, we were pleasantly surprised to find shops open till late. The gelato shop near Pantheon was still open way after 11pm. Attractions are nicely lit up at night too. We were hard-pressed between staying up late to see everything in lights and turning in early to take in the sights the next day! Reception staff were very friendly. Breakfast was mostly sweet stuff but there's always cereal and yogurt.
