Webers Inn Ann Arbor Guest Reviews
It is very clear from the moment that you walk into the hotel that they put a lot of time and thought into their renovations. The lobby area is modern but warm, and the restaurant was very nice. The pool area is actually quite breathtaking with several spiral staircases that link patios attached to each interior room and end up in the pool and game room area. I didn't have a chance to check out the bakery or bar, but the restaurant was cozy and nice. The staff was very kind and helpful as well. The room itself wasn't anything spectacular. It is easy to see they spent their money on the lobby, restaurant, fitness, and pool areas and gave the rooms a "lipstick" job. The air conditioning unit in the room was old and quite loud. I eventually turned it off. The room was clean, but looked a bit "worn out," with a little bit of evidence of moisture on the wall that went out to the pool area. I was expecting a bit more after seeing the lobby. Although the room was average, the bed was VERY comfortable and the linens were very nice. The room service prices were very affordable, and the pizza they made to order was very good. Overall, this looks like an old "mom and pop" inn that is really taking valiant strides towards becoming a VERY nice hotel. I am sure the next stage of renovations will begin to address the room quality. The rooms may not have the perfect pristine quality of a chain hotel, but the unique amenities and interesting design of the hotel make it a good value.
