Waldorf Apartments The Entrance Guest Reviews
The location is very good, the facilities were average the secured car park was good, the bar fridge is too small for apartments, the reverse cycle air condition/heating was not very effective in the two bedroom apartment it was unbearably cold, the bathrooms need ventilation, a fan or something to give way for the steam. The service was average, improvement in customer service will benefit the hotel, the breakfast package was not appealing. The room was not clean at all, the carpet was stained, the bathroom was mouldy, the tiles were not clean, the room smelt dust all over, the bed spreads were not clean, the balnkets were stained. The pricing was really bad, I realised that there were cheaper and cleaner accomodation around the area. All in all major improvements are required to any rooms which have similar conditions.

I stayed here over the Queens Birthday long weekend. I found the studio room to be very good value for money. The bed was large and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for a studio apartment. The bathroom was clean and included a washer and dryer - would have been great if there was a small packet of laundry detergent provided. The ventilation in the bathroom was not very good - you had to keep the door shut after showering but there was no extractor fan to get the steam out of the room. The location is fantastic, it is only 1 block back from the water and we had views of the ocean and lake from our balcony (the views were over buildings but for the price any water view is a bonus!). Parking was secure and free. We ate at Prospero's Italian restaurant - the menu was included in the hotel information binder - I would highly recommend this restaurant the food was fantastic!

Room was dirty- dishes/pans in self contained appt. were stained- aircon full of dust when fan opened- dust and dirt and rubbish behind washing machine blankets had stains on them and mould in the shower. Because of the uncleanliness i felt it was extremely overpriced. Fire alarms went off both mornings we stayed, the second day it went off twice.I was charged extra for a 3rd child yet no bed was made up when i enquired i was told the sheets and blankets are in the cupboard!Great location- pity about the cleanliness and service.

Everything was good apart from the coffee shop. Limited breakfast options. Coffee shop was untidy and staff should have kept it cleaner

The continental breakfast venue leaves lot to be desired: 1. The manager/waitress was not very welcoming. 2. Plastic tablecloths were dirty. 3. The breafast selections were what you would expect in a ** establishment.
