The food and service at Taj were excellent. The breakfast variety and quality was up with the best I had seen. The rooms were comfortable with the grounds and decor presented a nice ambiance. The surrounding township was quite due to the time of the year. If you like quite, then this would be good time to go. The sports facilities covered all bases and even catered for squash and golf was an option It was at the tail end of the monsoon season and the foreshore had rceived a battering this year. Going to Goa, this would be the place to stay. The late night delivery of chocolate deserts was unexpected and really appreciated.

Hotel rooms and toilets need renovation; the newly built cottages are excellent; the overall services and efficiency of staff is excellent. Please note that the telephone nos. have changed; kindly rectify. Food is superb!

The hotel was all that we were hoping for - the setting was gorgeous and the rooms were beautiful. Only sore point was that our evening meal at the flagship restaurant was totally marred by unruly children screaming and running around. The floor manger seemed incapable of taking a stand with the parents despite our request to do so. Other than that, the stay was perfect.
