The hotel needed single rooms, so they asked if they could combine our family in a beautiful two bedroom suite. Gorgeous

This is a beautiful old hotel in a great location. It is close to the cathedral. The only downside was we needed to buy Internet service for some business but it didn't work in our room so we had to sit int he lobby or "business center". Other than that, great hotel.

Stayed here early October , great location and immaculate property, we had a room facing a wall which was not an issue as it was quiet all be it a little dark , bedroom really good , bathroom could do with some cosmetic attention but more than sufficient - welcome at reception and service over all could do with being better- lack of info , not that friendly and a little slow after all its a 4 star -our booking included 'sherry on arrival' than never came - lovely courtyard bar and roof top terrace both worth a visit but not mentioned by staff - great location though- didnt' eat there but other guests suggested food was good although breakfast overpriced- give it a go but don't be expecting service to match the ambience - mind you if you talk to the staff about their ciry service did improve and they did attend much better- roof top terrace staff were the best!

This isn't a fair review, because they did not honour my booking. They had overbooked and told me that I would have to stay at another hotel which I was assured was "just as nice". The staff lied and the hotel they sent me to was terrible. If it had been more than a one night stay I would have demanded my money back and made other arrangements.

The set-up of the hotel is very confusing and guests get lost finding their rooms. Our air conditioning did not work and we had to move rooms in the middle of the night. Whilst sitting in the lobby we overheard two other guests complaining that their air conditioning did not work and they had to move rooms also. We were asked what time we wanted our car brought to the hotel on the day of our departure but we still had to wait 25 minutes for it to arrive.
