"Really good hotel to use as a base on your stay to Madrid. Its easy to go shopping and drop back the bags! Not the kind of hotel that you "hang out" in. There is only 1 English channel (CNN) but there are movies on demand."

"The hotel is in a fantastic location at the heart of the pulsating Gran Via. All of Madrid's top sights (the palace, Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, art galleries, main districts etc) are within walking distance. There are plenty of excellent places to eat, drink or shop too, all within walking distance. The hotel is very clean and stylish with an art deco theme, whilst remaining in an affordable price range. The reception staff spoke excellent English and were helpful in that cool way the Madrilenos seem to have. There is a security presence day and night and they are friendly too. I would definitely recommend the Vincci Capitol to family and friends. "
