Like many things with the Landmark Village, buildings rooms and design are showing signs of age. Stayed there several times over the past 10 years and attempts are being made to upgrade by the owners. So do expect like some things might not be working properly like elevator buttons, weak toilets flush, dark toilets (almost impossible to shave with the dim lights in the toilets). no large mirror in the room, slow checkouts and others.. However, the BIG plus point for this hotel is its prime location where trains stations, bus stops , convenience stores, shopping malls, restaurants and tourist attractions are within walking distance. That is the pulling factor and not the facility itself which might need a makeover. So for the price paid, it‘s really the price for its locality.

Location is good and easy to move around. Even if you do not drive there is no need for cab as the MRT is just around the corner. Many exortic food ie Turkish, Arabian etc, just to name a few, are less than 300m away. The hotel staffs were ever the helpful and cheerful. The housekeeping staffs were equally helpful and have ready smiles for the hotel guests. Well done.

This hotel location is very close SMRT, Bugis Junction, Arab Street, Golden Mile, Mustafa Centre, Sim Lim Square, Waterloo Centre, Raffles City and everything else in between. Restaurant is everywhere close by. Eventhough the hotel is quite old, we don't mind staying here again on our next trip.

Firstly the previous occupants of my romm had trashed the carpet, which was a mess. Disappointed that there was no extractor in bathroom,as a result everything was streamed up for some time. Tv connection was not very good. Bed was comfortable. In the breakfast bar ,there was no fresh milk, only long life. The bacon was terrible. Service was good by staff.Reception staf were courtious.

Poor front counter staffs and extremely cold in the room even after a "check-up" by the hotel's maintenance staff.....

Good position for use of the 'Hop-on Hop-off' bus. In walking distance from many good restaurants, shops in the same complex and hospital across the road. Nice pool deck area with bar. We would stay there again.

We have stayed in this hotel many times. The rooms are large and their Exec Floor package suits us well. It is great to be able to escape the heat of Singapore to the quiet of the lounge and enjoy a free coffee. The only negative is the breakfast. Exec members can use any of 3 restaurants, but all have a poor selection of food offered.

On face value a lovely hotel - good size room, wonderful views from large windows, great pool area. Most positive thing is location - close to MRT and a great area around Arab St. But a few things lacking when you get to the detail - no hairdryer, safe didn't work, wifi far too expensive. Lifts very frustrating!! Pool needs to remain open longer so you can swim after a day shopping or sightseeing,

Location great. Staff were attentive. Rooms are generous if not in need of a little refurbishment but clean. We arived at 8.00am and were given a room straight away even though not booked in until the afternoon. Great hotel for older couples.

There was a strong curry smell in the lifts and outside the hotel, however, I thought it was a good value for money hotel.

Stayed at this hotel many times in the past and the checkin process is always the same fiasco, wrong room type is the only available. In this instance I ordered a smoking double, I was first told that they had no smoking rooms and then shown to a twin room. After rejecting this they finally found a smokin double for me and the rest all fell into place. It was a great stay and I will stay there again even knowing checkin will be a drawn out process. General service staff are great and the location is as good as it gets if one has to travel around Singapore a bit.
