Villa Ulivi hotel is a remarkably beautiful and luxurious fifteenth century Florentine Villa located few minutes away from Florence historic city centre and its main monuments, as well as the shopping area, up towards the wonderful landscape of an ideal Tuscan hill.

The fresh breakfast, with Florentine bread, coffee, tea, juice and home-made cakes and jams, is served each morning in the Villa's elegant lounges during the winter and on the outdoor terraces, beneath the pleasant shade of the luxuriant mimosa trees, during the summer. You can also unwind in a warm friendly atmosphere with excellent drinks at the cosy bar.

Villa Ulivi Hotel Florence Guest Reviews
The villa is remarkably beautiful,furnished with exceptional antiques,immersed in a huge garden. It looks more like an estate and offers splendid view over Florence, the Duomo and the surrounding hills. However,the owners tend to avoid the guests and try hard to discourage any attempt to make contact with them. Although we found it rude we could easily ignore their unfriendly attitude and enjoy our stay at this beautiful villa.We read in the Internet that the villa is a "comfortable, scenic walk from downtown Florence". FYI it takes 30 min to get to the center walking on a steep, narrow street . The bus ride takes 10 or 20 minutes depending on the traffic.It comes every 20 minutes and after 9pm every hour. The taxi ride from San Marco to the villa costs 10 euro. The villa is not easy to find, there is no sign whatsoever on the front gate which is on a small, narrow street therefore it is impossible to stop or park the car if you are coming from Florence.
