This is a very nice hotel (setting, building, etc.). Pity that at our stay it was rather noisy: Maintenance and cleaning work was going on until midnight, using heavy machinery and starting again very early in the morning. Would consider to stay longer if the overall atmosphere was more quiet.

En-route for Pompeii from Ciampino (Rome Airport) we stayed here for one night. Stunning location for this Villa, overlooking Rome. We enjoyed a late dinner with excellent service, had Frascati in Frascati and were entertained by a wedding reception going on. Alltogether a very romantic situation.

This hotel is in the most amazing setting on a hill overlooking Rome in the plain below. The hotel is grand and historic and booking through [your website] it is incredible value for money. There is a small swimming pool, sunbathing lawns and wonderful grounds. Breakfast was very good with a reasonable selection of foods in a very pleasant, air-conditioned dining room. Avoid dinner in the restaurant, there is a limited menu choice, it is overpriced (especially the wine) and the aged, confused waiter is an entertaining distraction. I suggest you eat out for dinner. The hotel runs a shuttle bus service but this hotel is at its best if you have your own transport to take full advantage of its location. Highly recommended!
