Lovely hotel for a quirky get away. Great Renaissance feel about it, and interesting history to this little villa. Located well outside of Venice, but train station is 1km away and that will take you straight into the heart of Venice. Each room is done up differently with it's own style and character - gorgeous chandeliers. Hotel is set in a small village - very quaint and lovely family feel about it. Very enjoyable, great continental breakfast, friendly staff. Would stay there again!

The hotel was absolutelly amazing, like in a fairytale! The furniture was in an old style and all the equipment was rustical. Already the building it self looks like a chateau and so also the staff behaves to you like you are a princess. We needed to open a butle of wine, but we didn't have an opener, the receptionist couldn't find any in the hotel, so he called in the middle of the night to his friend to bring it to the hotel! Something like that never happened to me in a hotel. And then magical morning with a magical breakfast served in a saloon with a view from a window on a beautiful church and you can admire beautiful frescos on a ceiling! The quality of the food was excellent! Specially croisants and fruit salad. If you have car, location is no problem - 16 km from Venice. And also train stop is just 300 m from the hotel. Train will take you to the Venice city centre - St. Lucia station. If I will come once again to Venice, would like to stay in this magical hotel again!!!

we stayed here for 4 nights,the room was basic with out coffe making facility,no window.the hotel was very clean and decorated/furnished to a high standard,staff were very helpful which is just as well as there was no information in room or hotel about surrounding area, i.e. where to eat,trains ,buses ,mass times.Breakfast was simple with drinks from a machine ,exept for the chosen few who were offered fresh cappucino, in all a quiet clean hotel within easy reach of venice ,because of the remote area some italian would be helpfull. Dont forget to stamp your train tickets!!!!!
