A nice hotel with good service but facilities are quite basic. It's still a good hotel for a short vacation.

A beautiful hotel. The view of the street from the dining room is excellent. I would definitely stay here again during future visits.

Its a lovely old building in a great location. Our first room was a twin and downstairs in the Annex (which is better than the main hotel I think). The staff changed it promptly at our request to one upstairs at the end with windows on two sides. Rooms seem dark as they are all old wood floors and furniture. Primary school nearby. Bathrooms are a bit tired. Buffet Breakfast on the upper terrace overlooking the main street is a great way to start the day.

We stayed in the original building in the centre of Luang Prabang. There is also a more modern annexe building close by which we did not enter but it was atmospheric staying in the old building which also contained the restaurant. Villa Santi also has a resort complex a short distance out of town and connected by shuttle bus. We are more than happy to have stayed where we did but it would have been good to have sampled a couple of nights at the resort too.
