Vilarisi Hotel Bali Guest Reviews
First impressions are everything to me. While waiting to book in, I looked out the door at the pool. I saw the walls of the pool had a wide dirty band on the waterline. YUK! I then went to my room, they had put my bags in the wrong room, so they had to find them. The toilet didnt flush, and looked like the button had been broken for quite some time. There was a long crack in the bath tub, it was rough on your feet. I am very glad I only booked one night there! I would recommend to stay elsewhere.

A very run down hotel. The room was sparsly furnished with a very old analogue tv, the bed and linen had definitely seen better days. The lower 50cm of the shower curtain was black and the bathroom smelt. There is no complimentary bottled water provided, instead notices advise you to collect some water from a water dispenser near Reception. The pool walls looked like they had green algae and I therefore didn't attempt to utilise it (no-one else was swimming at any point of my stay.) The breakfast is pretty lamentable and does not begin until 07:30am after you have first collected a coupon from Reception. The hotel also seems to suffer from a mosquito problem. They provided a small plug in mosquito repellant for my room and I noticed them spread around the Reception and Dining room areas. Personally for the same money you can stay in much nicer hotels in Bali. I would rate this hotel as maybe a 2 star property.

The hotel room is a bit dim but the location is strategic within walking distance.the hotel breakfast is not enough so we have to get extra outside the hotel to be full.

Basically the hotel is full with Balinese design and a very basic facility. The staff are very friendly. However, there are a lot of mosquitos in the room!! Dont worry, each hotel room is equipped with mosquito repellents; where you can also get more on request. My boyfriend was being waken up by the disturbing mosquitos few times throughout the few nights. And I have been biten by the mosquitos throughout the few nights, leaving me with the itchy mosquito biting marks all over my body!! My boyfriend did try few ways to 'minimize' the mosquitos gangs to be coming into our room: applying 'minyak angin' on our body, covering the door underneath with rag... But still, we found ourselves with mosquito bites the next day!! The mosquitos are simply unstoppable!! The hotel should have more choices on the breakfast given, we were simply being fed by the same food (fried rice, noodles, eggs..) every morning.

-some of the staff were jumping from the 2nd floor into the pool, while there were guests sunbathing, they jumped with their clothes and shoes on, maybe its kind of a joke but i dont think its appropriate even for a two star hotel. -when i checked in to the room, the housekeeping left a used bottled water from the previous guest. -when i asked for a spoon, the room service told me to get it myself to the restaurant the price and location is pretty fair though, but i have been to a hotel with the same price and quality with vilarisi but they can provide better services.
