3 out of 5

The reception was very friendly and informative We were upgraded to an on suite which was good we felt that some of the hotel facilities were in need of updating. old louver window need replacing to help stop insects in the bed rooms. resturant was closed as not in high season. The breakfast was included which was just as well as there is very limited places to eat near by Staff were exstreemly helpful but dinnig room needed more care when cleaned location for walks in the blue mountains was perfect and staff knowledge of walks great

It's a beautiful historical building - especially the lounge, but its facilities definitely need renovations. Breakfast was good!

The new owners are contending with problems left over from the prevous ones: Peeling paint, odourous carpets, damaged and mismatched fixtures and some water damage. I acknowledged the challenge they have ahead of them and wished them luck. If you are expecting Victorian charm and spendor, they aren't there - yet. If you want friendly service and a relaxed stay, give them a go and help them make their dream come true.

A good place to stay inbetween the three sisters and Jenolan Caves. Didn't pay much for the room so I didn't expect much and as expected it was just ok. Service was good, first time I ever got a tour of a place upon arrival. The English breakfast that was included was only cereal, toast and a few other little things. Biggest disappointment was with the pool as it was such a hot weekend. The pool was filthly .

We were made to feel very welcome by the hospitable staff, but the room had no heating in winter (radiator was cold), and the carpet was old and dirty. Very expensive for what was available.
