Victoria Hotel Chau Doc Guest Reviews
The hotel is lovely, really traditional and in a brilliant location. The breakfast was wonderful as were the facilities such as the pool and sun deck. The only downside to this hotel is that it is getting a little worn and could do with some attention to the bathrooms. They are reasonably clean but for around 100GBP i would expect it to be kept slightly more up together.

Excellent hotel, but expensive. Very good restaurant and comfortable rooms. Hotel staff were very kind.

Meal in restaurant not good (fish in banana leaves extremely dry and inedible) and although did not eat this was still charged - felt some concession should have been made. Hotel a wonderful restful haven and a great place to recharge batteries.

Excellent hotel, restaurant and staff. Took two of the tours the hotel offered and found both extremely educational and interesting. Staff incredibly helpful in arranging alternate travel plans at the last minute when our original plan fell through. Would recommend to anyone interested in Mekong Delta.

I specifically stayed at the Chau Doc Victoria to be able to use their boat transport to Can Tho. We had taken the boat from Phnom Penh to Chau Doc, and discovered when we arrived that the boat service was not available, so we missed the best part of the Mekong. The hotel put us onto a public bus which literally poured us into a confined space. The worst experience of our trip through Asia. I just can''t believe there was not something better available. The hotel insists on having a TV blaring CNN in the lounge, just like every one star hotel in Vietnam. Nice staff, but not a four star hotel.
