One night fly in fly out trip to North Sydney. Room had everything needed for a good night's sleep and to catch up on my email etc. Dining room (Curve Restaurant) was well run with well cooked basic fare. Probably a bit over priced for dinner but (per-booked to save $8) the cooked buffet breakfast was reasonably priced. There are plenty of alternatives nearby if you have a bit more time to enjoy them.

We stayed 2 nights and it was perfect. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Loved the fact you could get on the train easily and that there was lots of yummy places to eat at and not forgetting Luna park for the little and big kids.

The location and value for this hotel is good, being close to the train station and close to the city. I would mark the hotel down because the walls are quite thin and you can hear the television in the next room. This is bad if you are a light sleeper or had party animals staying next door.

I stayed here recently because a weekend seminar I was attending was located at the hotel. It was great! The location was very central - across the road from a train station and very close to all the amenities. The room was not ready when I arrived (I was early) but by the time I arrived back that evening my luggage had been taken to my room and it was a very simple process for a very tired me! My only (slight) quibble was that the bath in the room I was in was chipped - considering the price to stay in this hotel, I hope it will be fixed soon.

great location, opposite the railway station and easy walk across the harbour bridge to circular quay. The fery is located a short walk down the hill also. Good restaurants, cafes nearby. Hotel very expensive and spent first night on 2nd floor and had to be moved because of the noise of traffic and trains. If you book here ring them to make sure your room is on the upper floors( 5th floor or above) .there are no free wi fi places in this hotel which is very inconvenient.

Excellent experience 50m walk to railway station, 10 min walk to ferry terminal, 30 min walk across the bridge to the rocks or circular key. Very well priced, great breakfast friendly staff. Recommend highly to anyone looking at a budget get away.

conveniently located hotel on lower north shore close to rail and Kirribilli. Hotel was clean, friendly and twin room comfortable but not large. Facilities were good and service excellent. A little expensive for what it is but many advantages in location.

Four nights and the sheets were never changed! Other linen - always one short of a facecloth everyday. General cleaning in the room was done one day and not the next. Need I say this hotel leaves a lot be desired in these areas. The elevator kept having door closed nil movement. Location is absolutely the best for convenience to all forms of transport. Didn't eat in the hotel, but that is only because there are so many great little restaurant in nearby Kirribilli.

This is my favourite hotel North of the Harbour. It's a 5 minute walk to North Sydney and across the road from Milsons Point railway station so access to the airport or most of Sydney is great, regardless of the traffic. The rooms are comfortable if a little small and if you're lucky (as I was this time) you'll get a great view out over Lavender Bay. The bar and restaurant in the hotel are quite good with a nice assortment of other eateries within a short walk. You can also catch a ferry just down the road.

The location of this hotel was perfect - just across the road from the Milson's Point train station and a short walk to the Kirribilli shops and cafes. And of course, right near Sydney harbour. We were pleasantly surprised to have a view over McMahon's Point too. Only complaints: not many channels on the tv, wi-fi was expensive (why is it that the more you pay for a hotel, the more expensive the internet? I've stayed at backpacker's hostels and the wi-fi is always free), and there was water leaking from somewhere in the bathroom so there was always a large puddle on the floor. Biggest gripe of all: When we went to check in, we were told by the desk staff that Hotel Clb had cancelled our booking (even though we had done no such thing, and I had just printed off the booking details that morning). I then had to waste time and phone credit on a call to Hotel Clb trying to sort it all out before we were allowed to check in. Even though it was not the hotel's fault, it would have been nice if they could have dealt with Hotel Clb on our behalf. Just that little bit of extra customer service would have meant a lot. But they made no effort at all to help us, even though there were three staff standing around idle at reception. So I rate the customer service as quite poor.

2 night stay - glass and mug in room chipped / replaced on request. No room cleaning / bed makeup 2nd day. Bathroom not cleaned, nothing replaced. No refill of tea/coffee etc. Most unsatisfactory. No fee reduction either! Note 1: Only get Freq Flyer points if booking direct with hotel. Note 2: car parking very limited and tight - not for larger cars. Reception staff did all they could to help.
