Espiritu Climate
The climate of Espiritu is subtropical, meaning there is a lot of rain during most of the year, totalling about 236 cm annually. The dry season spans from April to October, when temperatures are between 18-28°C. Temperatures rise to a peak 32-34°C from November to March.
Getting There & Around
Pekoa Airport services Espiritu and Santo Island, and there are buses and taxis available for travel to the main city of Luganville. There are mini-buses that go to town as well, although they are less frequently available. Resorts and hotels usually offer free shuttle services for guests.
You can get around easily by walking, but taxis are plentiful and easy to hail if you do not want to walk in the heat.
